The program is designed to help develop the next wave of up-and-coming marketing, communications and business development talent. The program of events has been specifically created to help expand skill sets, build professional networks and provide inspiration for career success.

We are excited to invite you to our first event for 2016 and share what we have in store for the rest of the year.

Although individual event registration is available, we encourage attendees to take advantage of the Next Step Program package which provides the opportunity to register for all four events in the series at a cost of just $165 for APSMA members ($225 for non-members).

Please feel free to forward this on to colleagues who may be interested in our Next Step program of events.

We look forward to seeing you in April for our first event - Building resilience in times of change.

APSMA Qld: Next Step 1
Building resilience in times of change

We live in a world of constant change. Sometimes change is a result of the choices we make, other times it comes our way unexpectedly. Regardless of why we experience change, the ability to quickly adapt to the challenges it presents improves our overall effectiveness, productivity and well-being.

Resilience helps us deal with uncertainty and change in a calm, optimistic manner. It provides us with the ability to absorb the hard knocks, dust ourselves off and persevere when the going gets tough, helping us maintain confidence in the face of perceived failure.

At this event Fiona Darroch-Speedie, Talent Development Consultant – Queensland/Northern Territory, Aurecon will show you how to build ‘resilience muscles’ and bring positive energy, clear thinking and composure to complex environments and change.

After attending this session you will be armed with practical solutions that you can share with colleagues and implement in the face of change in the workplace and beyond.

Who should attend?

Marketing coordinators, marketing assistants, business development coordinators and industry professionals who are seeking to build their resilience and improve their ability to manage change.
