Many professional services firms have been slower to buy into social media marketing, but that’s beginning to change, with many now taking social marketing seriously in an effort to build brand awareness, generate leads and recruit employees.

In this interactive session Megan Del Borrello from Gloss Marketing Communications will explore the following topics:

  • Investing in a strategic plan: think about your goals, objectives and tactics
  • Considering a social media policy: the person posting should know the plan, your voice and how to manage issues
  • Select the right tools to create, optimize and monitor your social media strategy
  • Including Content Marketing in your overall strategy.

The presenters:



Megan Del Borrello has over 15 years marketing experience, with a broad knowledge of everything online and offline, allowing for a truly integrated approach. Having previously been the Managing Director of a Digital Agency she specialises in creating and implementing marketing strategies, social media and campaign development for small to large enterprise. She has a keen interest in educating small business and not for profits to help them understand the online space. Megan is also a member of the Australian Institute of Marketing.


 
Katrina Giura has worked in the marketing industry for the last 8 years after completing her Degree in Marketing & Public Relations. Having worked as an Agency Manager at a Digital Agency, she has extensive experience with website design and development, implementing marketing strategies, email marketing and social media. Katrina enjoys working with business to maximise their return on investment online and offline.

Megan and Katrina have also been speakers at various seminars and business associations and as mum’s of toddlers they are both aware of the challenges of running a business whilst being the primary carer to a small child and have written several Blogs on the topic.
