With the 2020 Legal 500 Asia-Pacific editorial guidelines just confirmed as 21 June 2019, ICON is inviting Legal 500 UK Bar and Asia Pacific Editor John van der Luit-Drummond to Hong Kong for a breakfast session on Thursday 28 March.
You will hear from John on the latest developments and updates at Legal 500, including an updated list of practice areas for each jurisdiction and new lawyer ranking categories. John will also discuss the Legal 500 methodology for how firms are ranked in addition to tips and best practice for the submission process.

John van der Luit-Drummond
John studied law and worked in both regional and boutique UK-based law firms before embarking on a career as a journalist at several well-known legal publications. Prior to joining The Legal 500, he was deputy editor of Solicitors Journal and was nominated for a legal reporting award for his coverage of legal affairs and exclusive interviews with leading lawyers, jurists, and politicians. John’s role as UK Bar and Asia Pacific Editor is to build relationships with lawyers in the UK and Asia Pacific and oversee The Legal 500 coverage in both directories. He is also the editor of The Legal 500's brand new and free legal magazine – fivehundred.
