    Fast Track is a seven-part development program for mid-career marketing, business development and communications professionals in professional services who are ready to operate with greater confidence, influence and impact.

    The program is designed for professionals who are confident in their role and looking to step up. Fast Track focuses on executive presence, strategic influence, leading people and navigating complex, partner-led environments. It is practical, applied and grounded in the realities of professional services firms, with clear links to growth, client outcomes and firm priorities.

          As AI tools become embedded in professional services delivery, marketing and business development teams are increasingly drawn into conversations about pricing, value and positioning. These are often areas they do not control directly, yet they significantly influence how clients perceive value and how firms protect growth.

          Clients may assume that if AI reduces time, fees should fall. Firms know the picture is more complex.

          In this 45-minute webinar, Dr Carl Bezuidenhout explores how AI is influencing pricing and value conversations in legal and accounting firms, and what that means for those working at the intersection of partners, pricing and clients.

          Drawing on sector research and market examples, the session will examine:

            Effective executive leadership is demonstrated in everyday interactions. This highly practical session builds the capability to lead individuals and teams with clarity, accountability and confidence, whether or not you have direct reports. The pathways to leadership are varied and nuanced.


            We begin with a short introduction and icebreaker before exploring what leadership means in practice, including Maxwell’s 5 Levels of Leadership. Participants will reflect on the type of leader they are today and the type of leader they want to become as expectations increase.


            Drawing on Hawkins’ work on high performing teams, we examine what top teams consistently do well and how leaders create the conditions for trust, alignment and performance. Participants will then craft a clear leadership vision and begin developing a practical team charter to guide behaviours and expectations.

This includes coaching skills grounded in psychological safety, deep listening and the GROW model, a coaching style of delegation, how to give feedback that lands, and how to set effective leadership boundaries.
